We run lots of different sessions, some are for specific groups or have eligibility criteria, others are open to all. Here you can find out what our sessions are all about.
Fish and Chat
Run in West Kent, Medway and Swale these free sessions are run for those adults who need support with their mental health and wellbeing, long term health condition or social isolation. These 4hr sessions offer participants the opportunity to learn a new skill and make new friends. After 3hrs fishing the group comes together to sit and chat over a cuppa and some cake. Get Into Fishing
Whether you are looking to learn how to fish or want to develop your fishing skills these sessions are for you. Run in conjunction with the Angling Trust's Get Into Fishing and CAST award programmes which provide a serries of progressive steps to develop your skills. Holiday Activities and Food
Run at Little Easton Manor, Dunmow our holiday activities and food (HAF) programme provides healthy meals, fishing activities, and free childcare places to children from low-income families, benefiting their health, wellbeing and learning. These sessions are run as part of the Essex Activate HAF programme during the Easter and Summer holidays. Some additional sessions may be run at half term (funding permitting). Fish Fest
Our award winning Fish Fest programme is run in partnership with Kent Police, Golding Homes, Angling Direct and Kent Youth Services. The programme works with those young people at risk of becoming engaged in anti-social behaviour and/or other criminal activity. Run over 5 weeks the programme includes 4 workshop sessions to provide participants with the knowledge required to engage in the sport along with 2 day lake based sessions. Group sessions
Whether you are working with a group of adults or children our bespoke group sessions can be adapted to meet the needs of the group. School Work
Primary age - We are approved delivery partners of the Angling Trust Reel Education programme bringing learning through fishing in the areas of art, maths and science. For more information email: neil.wylie@anglingtrust.net.
Secondary age - our Fishing for Wellbeing programme has been written for those pupils who need support with their mental health and wellbeing. Taking the form of classroom and fishery based sessions. Birthday Parties
Are you looking for something different for your child's birthday? Our birthday parties offer a 3hr session, at a location appropriate to you, where the group can learn how to fish, or improve their current skills through games and fishing. All equipment, bait and licences are provided. All participants will receive a certificate of recognition. Prices based on number of children attending.
