Writer: Helen ElstoneHelen Elstone

We’re excited to share our upcoming fishing sessions for 2025! Whether you’re looking to improve your skills, try fishing for the first time, or find a supportive community, we have something for everyone.

Fish and Chat

Fishing is not just about catching fish—it’s also a great way to relax, connect with others, and improve mental well-being. Our Fish and Chat sessions are designed to support adults with mental health challenges, long-term health conditions, or social isolation. These four-week programmes will be available in West Kent, Medway, and Swale, providing a safe and welcoming environment to enjoy fishing and good conversation.

Get Fishing

Want to start fishing but don’t know where to begin? Our Get Fishing sessions are perfect for beginners, those returning to angling, or anyone looking for guidance on where, how, and what to fish. We’ll help you get started with expert advice in a friendly setting.

   •   Monthly sessions at Monk Lakes and Little Easton Manor

   •   Two sessions at Bewl Water

Catchy Carpers (New for 2025!)

   •   Held monthly at Little Easton Manor

Fish Fest

Our award-winning Fish Fest programme, in partnership with Kent Police, helps steer young people away from anti-social behaviour and towards positive activities. This engaging and supportive initiative is expanding in 2025, reaching more young people across Kent and Hertfordshire.

HAF (Holiday Activities & Food Programme)

Children eligible for benefits-related free school meals can join our HAF holiday club, where they will enjoy a fun-filled fishing experience and receive a free meal.
